Samaritan Project

Here at First United Methodist Sherman, we believe in putting our faith into action.

Like the Good Samaritan from Luke's Gospel, we are called to use the gifts we have been given to serve the underserved right here in our community. This season, we are launching a church-wide "love your neighbor as yourself" program called "The Samaritan Project." We will be encouraging you and your families to give back to those in need in our community - in whatever wonderfully, wildly, creative ways you choose - and to anonymously share your stories with us. We will share those stories in our weekly email, on our website, on Social Media, and possibly even during worship. You can share your stories with us here (or below). We hope you'll join us in becoming the hands and feet of Christ in the world around us.
