Opportunities in Music at First Methodist

Through our music programs, we seek to foster an environment of fruitful creativity, fun, and fellowship, all while preparing for various performances. We strive for our music to enhance our worship experiences and deepen our own spiritual connection with God. All are welcome to participate. No auditions or music reading skills are required.

CHANCEL CHOIR

Adults and high school students are invited to participate in the Chancel Choir. This ensemble participates in Traditional Worship at 10:50 am throughout the year. New members are always welcome. There is no audition process.

Rehearsals: Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm in the sanctuary

Sundays from 9:30 am in the Choir Room (#117)

HANDBELL CHOIR

The Handbell Choir is open to adults and high school students. This ensemble participates in worship on special occasions.

Rehearsal: Mondays at 6:00 pm in the Handbell Room (Room 115)
