At Sunday School, children will be engaged by exciting and faith building Bible stories, crafts, games, and songs from our new curriculum, Deep Blue: Learn & Serve by Cokesbury.
Children’s Time
11:00am | Sanctuary | All children are welcome
This is a special time in our Traditional Worship where children are invited to come to the front of the sanctuary where they will learn a short lesson with the pastor.
Children’s Worship
Following Children’s Time| Children’s Chapel | Ages: 3 – 2nd grade
This is a miniature version of “Big Worship” made just for Pre-K and early elementary aged children. Here, children will sing songs of worship, learn the Bible story of the day, reflect on what they have learned through meditation and quiet prayer time, and take up an offering. As children leave, they will be blessed with special “blessing balm” (chapstick!) so they may face the coming week knowing that they are blessings and that God loves them so incredibly much!
Worship Bags
11:00am Traditional Worship | Ages: 3 years through 5th grade
Worship Bags are packed with paper, crayons, coloring sheets, pipe cleaners, and this week’s Children’s Worship Bulletin. Each week, the Children’s Worship Bulletins and coloring sheets directly relate to what the pastor will be teaching about that Sunday – so the whole family learns the same message! Bags are designed for two different age groups, Pre-K – 1st grade and 2nd – 5th grade, and they are labeled accordingly near the entrances to the sanctuary.
